MI vs RR: Ravindra Jadeja makes Shardul pay for a costly off-ball with pranks and boundaries

Shardul Thakur thought he had Ravindra Jadeja only to pull him back. Jadeja responded with a banter, two boundaries and laughter from both ends.

They say never celebrate early during a cricket match and Shardul Thakur was jokingly reminded by Ravindra Jadeja during the MI vs RR match at the Wankhede Stadium.

Jadeja was dismissed by Shardul off the fourth ball of the over and decided to celebrate the wicket aggressively. But just as the team was getting into a huddle, the stadium’s dreaded no-ball siren went off. This gave Jadeja a chance to go back to his compatriot and aggressively celebrate on Shardul.

He then rubbed salt in Shardul’s wounds and hit him for back-to-back boundaries. Then Jadeja celebrated again, prompting laughter from both camps. In the end everything was fine between the two and they also laughed together. You can see a bit of the tease below:
