After setting a Commonwealth record by lifting 85kg in the clean and jerk, Chanu missed her opening attempt at 82kg but bounced back with successful lifts of 82kg and 85kg. She then finished the event by lifting 105kg to secure gold and complete a remarkable hat-trick of Commonwealth Games titles.
