Minister of Law S. Regupathy said on Monday that the state government tried only for all cases concerning the (ED) Directorate (ED) searches Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC) at the Madras High Court.
When he talked to reporters at the Secretariat, he faced the leaders of the opposition and Secretary -General Aiadmk Edapppadi K. Palaniswami at the Assembly and claimed that he had not read this emphasis properly. “Our intention is that this case should not be prolonged. We want to close the case immediately before the Supreme Court. There was nothing wrong in Tasmak and we can prove it in court,” he said. Mr. Regupathy said that 83 fishermen were in prison in Sri Lanka, but he said that 11 fishermen would be released. The Government of the Union is responsible for arresting fishermen, he claimed.
Asked about the search for ED in the residence of the Minister of the KN Nera, Nera, he said that ED was also an “alliance partner” of BJP. Mr. Regupathy, who criticized Mr. Palaniswami, claimed that the leader Aiadmk was preparing for an alliance with a BJP who refused the funds for the state, to “store Hindi”, and tried to reduce places for Tamil Nadu in parliament by defining. He also called Mr. Palaniswami’s “traitor”.
