The viral video circulating on the social media reportedly shows the concrete beam from the overpass beyond the frame in the Mumbai falling and puncture of the windshield of the moving car in the mahara. However, Mint independently verified the authenticity of this statement.
The undated video shared on Reddit captures a scene where several individuals, including a policeman, stand next to a car with a concrete beam protruding from its broken windshield. The clip begins by closing the car driver and approaching the front of the vehicle in an apparent distrust, where the police officer is already present. The older woman, seemingly passengers, stands nearby and observes a damaged car. When the driver and the policeman take pictures of the vehicle, the camera leans up and reveals part of the above -ground overpass with a missing piece of concrete. However, it remains unclear whether this missing part is the one that fell on the car.
The title of a video published on R/Bombai claims that the incident occurred on Mira Road and included an overpass that is part of the ongoing project of the metro in Mumbai. According to the post, the beam fell just at the time the car passed under it, and the driver had a narrow escape.
The video quickly became viral at Reddit, with shocked users comparing an incident with a scene from the final target film because of its similarity to a crazy accident. “That’s so scary. It looks like it’s right from the final target movie,” one user pointed out.
Another user said: “In the US the driver could sue and get millions of damage, but here he will have to spend money from his own pocket to correct his car.”
“Can’t the driver sue the supplier for attempting murder? I know it is an accident, but the supplier is responsible here,” wrote the third user.
