The Chinese man humiliated thousands of “Slaps” in the game and sued the game company for depression. The man, a fan of the three kingdoms, killed online for 15 years, claiming that he had been practically slapped more than 4,800 times in the game, damaging his self -esteem.
According to the Xin Huanghe report, the man who used the pseudonym Qiaoben has the highest rank in the game.
After each victory, Qiaoben noticed that his rivals in the online game throw objects like eggs and sandals of straw on his avatar. He said that these have triggered virtual facial slap effects.
Based on the number of played games, he claimed that he had been hit by more than 4,800 times in the last six months.
Eggs and straw sandals can be obtained free of charge through activities in the game or buy at a minimum price.
Qiaoben, who understood that throwing these objects is for its opponents to vent their frustration after losing, said it must withstand a virtual slap that lasted more than 90 seconds in a recent game.
But he said his dignity was offended because all players could see slap.
“Every time I am hit by eggs, I feel my self -esteem is damaged and I have depressed,” he said.
Qiaoben also claimed that the game company “tolerates” and “allows” players to throw these offensive items on top of each other as they profit from sales.
In particular, the action was not the first choice of Qiaoben; Before taking an extreme measure, he registered several unaddated complaints for customer service.
In his court proceedings, Qiaoben was looking for compensation from the game company for the harassment he faced. However, the amount of action was not disclosed.
