Delhi to get relief from excessive heat? Weather changes, IMD predicts rainfall and dust storms | Today’s news

After days of sweltering heat, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a dust storm followed by light rain over Delhi-NCR in the next few hours, which will bring relief from the heat wave that has lasted for the past 5 days.

Regional Met Dept said: “Dust storm/followed by thunderstorm with light rainfall and lightning (40-70 kmph gusty winds) is very likely to occur at many places in Delhi & NCR, Farukhnagar, Kosali, Sohana, Nuh (Haryana), Bhiwari (Rajasthan) during next 2 hours.”

Several areas in Delhi experienced a sudden change in weather on Saturday morning as gray clouds covered the sky and a slight breeze brought relief from the heat wave.
