Man found dead with head injury in Vanasthalipuram, murder suspected

A man was found dead by the road near Panama area of ​​Vanasthalipuram on Sunday morning. Three teams have been formed to identify the victim, analyze CCTV footage in the area and establish the circumstances that led to his death.

According to the Vanasthalipuram police, locals spotted the body near the ART theater and alerted the authorities. A police team went to the scene and found a body with a head injury, probably caused by an attack with a sharp weapon. A preliminary investigation suggests the victim, aged in his 50s, was murdered.

The body was taken to the government mortuary where it was kept for identification.

The case was settled and further investigation is underway.
