The woman took Reddit to share her positive experience in Delhi and shared how Rapido Cab driver helped her in an emergency.
“She felt so safe in Delhi (sic) for the first time,” she called the post.
Delhi woman shares a heart story
When a woman told her experience, she said she had recently moved to Delhi and her phone battery died on the first day in the city.
“I recently moved to Delhi. On the day I moved, my phone wasn’t in work, so I took phones from a random store or chai tapri (tea stand) to book Rapido and call them to update them.
She managed to book a ride through the Rapido application, and when the driver reached his place, he warned that the area was not safe.
“When the owner of Rapido learned that I had no phone and I had to find PG, he was at the age of 40, said this place for which you reserved Rapido looks grim and not safe (sic),” she said.
The driver offered to wait for it until he finds his payment for the guest (PG) and his owner comes to the place.
“He said you were alone in this city, so I’ll wait for you to get PG and the owner reaches PG.
The woman also shared that he even denied the payment when he learned that she had only £500 Note.
“I didn’t have Gpay and only 500 notes with me, so I called my mom to keep Gpay on him. He said I wasn’t afraid, that I would earn more on a day if you couldn’t pay.
Rapido driver’s gesture gets a heart
