ABB Innovation brings together over 1,000 experts from 37 countries to Bengaluru

More than 1,000 innovators from 37 countries participated in the sixth edition of the ABB Accelerator, a five-day innovation program held at the ABB Innovation Center (AIC) in Bengaluru recently.

The program brought together ABB technologists, industry and academic excellence, 80 startups and participants from more than 350 universities to develop advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technologies for various industrial applications.

GNV Subba Rao, Whole Time Director, ABB Innovation Center, said the Accelerator has transformed ideas into scalable products and solutions by combining R&D, engineering expertise and AI capabilities to address industry challenges.

ABB’s Innovation Center in Bengaluru, one of the company’s largest global technology and engineering centers, employs nearly 4,000 professionals in R&D, engineering, digital technology and global operations.

Rajesh Ramachandran, Global Chief Digital Officer, Automation, ABB, said the program has evolved into a collaborative platform that brings together industry, academia, startups and technology partners to accelerate AI-based industrial innovation.
