Kurnool District Collector A. Siri appealed to all eligible voters to submit their Special Intensive Revision (SIR) forms on or before July 14 as the district administration stepped up efforts to complete the revision of the electoral roll within the Election Commission’s time frame.

While reviewing the digitization of enumeration forms in Aspari mandal on Wednesday, the collector directed booth-level staff to increase their daily processing target from around 70 forms to at least 150. She directed them to conduct door-to-door surveys from morning, digitize the collected forms in the afternoon and continue field visits in the evening to reach out to working voters.

Later, speaking to the media, the Collector said that with 20.86 lakh voters, Kurnool district has the largest voter base among districts in Andhra Pradesh. Around 65% of enumeration forms have already been digitized while family mapping has reached nearly 85% under the revision, she said.

Ms. Siri clarified that voters who do not submit census forms will not immediately lose their right to vote. Draft electoral rolls will be published first, followed by announcements and a 15-day opportunity to provide details. She urged residents to submit completed forms, proof of identity and current passport-size photos by July 14.
