Krishna District Police on Saturday (May 16, 2026) arrested one person for allegedly stealing electric motors installed in Aqua ponds.
The accused, identified as G. Srinivas Rao, committed the theft in water ponds located in Gundupalem, Kona and Tummalapalem villages of Machilipatnam mandal, Krishna District Superintendent of Police V. Vidyasagar Naidu said.
The police seized 13 electric motors, Machilipatnam Deputy Superintendent of Police G. Srinivas Rao said. The accused was brought before the court, which sent him to judicial custody.
