Call for a pilot test
Some analysts are of the opinion that a pilot test could put this debate to rest. “As a proposal, running a small pilot program to run flex-fuel vehicles could clarify how this system would work. Oil marketing companies and car manufacturers can decide on the minimum amount of fuel needed for a small number of vehicles, and based on the results of this project, a larger deployment model could be scaled up,” said Sanjukta Subudhi, Deputy Director of Microbial Biofuels and Biochemicals at The Energy-tanT.
