Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) supremo in the Assembly T. Harish Rao criticized the state government for imposing a ban on the sale of urea to farmers, calling it an anti-farmer measure.
In a statement, Mr. Rao said on Tuesday that the ban imposed across the state was uncalled for and there were no such cases in the past. He said the verbal orders issued by the Ministry of Agriculture (Minister) not to sell urea to farmers is a clear sign of the government’s anti-farming policy.
