The Ministry of Defense on Tuesday (May 5, 2026) signed a ₹1,476 crore contract with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Hyderabad, for procurement of five land mobile electronic systems for the Indian Army.
The deal, written under the Buy (Indian-Indigenously Designed, Developed and Manufactured) category, was formalized in the presence of Defense Minister Rajesh Kumar Singh at Kartavya Bhawan-2 in New Delhi.
