A big fire broke out at a scrap yard in Bholakpur, Musheerabad, late on Sunday (May 3, 2026) night, prompting a massive fire-fighting operation and evacuation of nearby residents.
As a precaution, 50 to 100 residents were evacuated from adjacent buildings before firefighting efforts intensified. No human casualties were reported. However, a domesticated dog in the warehouse died in the fire.
