Like 2026 Kerala Assembly Elections results will start coming in, the state is at a historic crossroads. The Congress-led UDF has been surging in Kerala as vote counting for the assembly elections gathered pace. The trends also indicated setbacks for the ruling front, with at least a dozen ministers trailing in their respective constituencies.
Initial trends show the UDF leading in 100 seats, while the CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front is trailing well behind in second place. The BJP, which had initially shown a strong performance in the initial count, saw a decline and is now leading by just two seats instead of the impressive ten it had earlier.
