The split of Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) is a conspiracy by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to show Mysuru as the second largest urban local body after Bengaluru, former mayor Iresh Anchatageri said in Dharwad on Sunday.
As of now, HDMC is the second largest company in the state. The Chief Minister is behind a conspiracy to strip the twin cities of this status and claim it for the Mysuru City Corporation.
