Andhra Pradesh continued to reel under intense heat on Friday, with Piduguralla of Palnadu district recording 45.9 degrees Celsius, the highest maximum temperature in the state, Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA) Executive Director Prakhar Jain said.
Mr. Jain said severe heat conditions prevailed in 252 mandals in 20 districts where the mercury level crossed 41°C.
