CPI(M) state secretary MV Govindan expressed firm belief that the Left Democratic Front (LDF) will retain power in Kerala as he interpreted the exit poll data as confirmation of the Left’s victory.
Addressing the media in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday (April 30, 2026), Mr. Govindan said that while some polling agencies are predicting a tight race, the basic findings of the polls, namely “absence of anti-establishment and popularity of the Chief Minister”, indicate a definite victory for the ruling front.
