Parisarakkaagi Naavu, an environmental organization based in Karnataka, has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding immediate action to protect people from climate crises.
“The institutional pace at which we are currently moving – committees, negotiations, phase-in, regular reviews – is completely inadequate to deal with a threat that is accelerating year by year,” the letter reads.
