Llast month, the Nashik police claimed to have busted a case of alleged forced conversions and sexual exploitation at a multinational company’s office in the city. Nine FIRs were registered and eight persons were arrested. Police said they are looking for one more accused, who they said is on the run. The Nashik court heard her anticipatory bail plea and will pass the order on May 2. TCS has ordered an internal inquiry, which has suspended all those named in the FIRs, adding that no formal complaint has been registered with it so far.
The TCS case involves nine FIRs. They relate to complaints of alleged sexual exploitation, rape and forced conversions at Tata Consultancy Services in Nashik, Maharashtra, over a four-year period between 2022 and 2026.
