Mundathikode Satheesh, 46, licensee of Thiruvambady temple for Thrissur Pooram and owner of the Mundathikode fireworks unit that was gutted in Tuesday’s blast, succumbed to burns at Thrissur Government Medical College Hospital on Friday.
Satheesh, who suffered 90% burns in the fireworks accident, was on ventilator support with critical injuries, including severe burns to his face, spine and entire body. He died around 3:45 p.m.
