The Delhi High Court on Thursday (23 Apr 2026) came down hard on the Delhi Police over the alleged torture and illegal detention of some activists last month, saying due process must be followed even in cases involving serious charges.
Justice Navin Chawla and Justice Ravinder Dudeja asked the investigating agency to either take follow-up action or refer the matter to the CBI.
