Voter turnout of 59.04% was recorded in Thursday’s (April 23, 2026) by-election to the Umreth assembly constituency in Gujarat’s Anand district, according to election authorities.
Voting began at 7 am and took place in 306 polling stations. No adverse incidents were reported.
