In a separate case, a special court in Bengaluru on Tuesday ordered the Tumakuru police to register a first information report (FIR) and conduct an investigation against Karnataka Home Minister G. Parameshwar and Tumakuru Deputy Commissioner (DC) Subha Kalyan, an IAS officer, over allegations of illegal betting during a public Kabbadi tournament held in October.
KN Shivakumar, judge of the special magistrate’s court for criminal cases against former and present MPs and MLAs, issued the order based on a private private complaint filed by HR Nagabushan.
