V Vijaya Prabhakaran, son of the late actor-politician Vijayakant and DMDK candidate in Virudhunagar Assembly constituency, who narrowly missed out in the Lok Sabha in 2024, is hoping to emerge victorious this time. In an interview with The Hindu, he says the decision to go with the DMK was taken because the rank and file of the party wanted it.
