A special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court in Jammu on Saturday (April 18, 2026) granted a 10-day judicial remand to banned Democratic Freedom Party chief Shabir Shah, 72, to the probe agency three weeks after the Supreme Court granted him bail in another case.
Mr Shah, who was arrested in Delhi on Friday, was produced before a special NIA judge in Jammu and the court, after hearing a submission, granted a 10-day remand for questioning the separatist leader in the three-decade-old case.
