It is important to develop a scientific nature among people to protect the environment because in the name of religion we often end up destroying our environment, Abhay S. Oka, a former judge of the Chennai High Court, said on Saturday.
He was responding to a question posed by N. Ram, director of THG Publishing Private Limited, who was moderating the former judge’s lecture on “Environmental Rights or Responsibilities under the Constitution of India” organized by the Chennai-based Rakesh Law Foundation.
