India’s first quantum computer is taking shape at the Raman Research Lab at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Hyderabad. It’s not a built-in computer marvel, but something built directly from the chips and physics that shape next-generation computing devices. The principal investigator is Karthik Raman, a physicist who studied at IITD, MIT and worked at IBM before returning to academia. He shares his vision with The Hindu’s Serish Nanisetti on World Quantum Day.
If you are talking about having a quantum computer in Hyderabad, there is absolutely none.
