Srikakulam Urban Development Authority Chairman and Jana Sena Srikakulam Srikakulam parliamentary wing leader Korikana Ravikumar said on Sunday (March 22, 2026) that the party has laid a solid foundation in all the villages and mandals of the Srikakulam Lok Sabha segment. This was evident from the response the party received during the membership meeting in the district in the last month, he added.
He said the party had registered around 40,000 new members in 2025 and was poised to cross one million within days. Talking to the media in Vizianagaram, he said the villagers were happy with the rapid development of the rural areas and had come forward to enroll their names in the ‘Udyami’ membership drive.
“The clean image of Jan Sena Party President and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is encouraging people to join the party. Mr. Pawan Kalyan, who holds the portfolios of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, is giving special emphasis on village development,” said Mr. Ravi Kumar.
The membership drive has generated a good response among the youth and women in both rural and urban areas of the Lok Sabha segment. He said he had sent a note to Mr. Pawan Kalyan in Mangalagiri requesting additional funds for development of roads and water facilities in remote areas of the district.
