
Vunnam Hanumantharaya Chowdary, a senior leader and former MLA from Kalyandurg assembly constituency in Anantapur district, died on Saturday after prolonged illness.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu condoled the demise of Chowdary and recalled that the veteran leader started his public life as a member of the corps. He later served as sarpanch, district president of Markfed and as TDP Anantapur district president for ten years. He was elected as MLA from Kalyandurg constituency in 2014.
BC Social Affairs Minister S. Savitha, Raptadu MLA Paritala Sunitha and TDP Anantapur district president and RTC zonal chairman Pula Nagaraju paid tributes to the late leader and condoled with the bereaved family.
