In addition, information relating to unidentified persons and individuals can also be found on this website.
After a First Information Report (FIR) is filed against a missing person, the authorities upload the details of that person with FIR number, date of disappearance, serial number, tracking status and report date on ZIPNET, among other websites.
How to track people who go missing from Delhi?

Step 2: Select the Missing Persons tab.
Step 3: The user will be redirected to a new page where they can check the details of the missing person through their name, guardian name, gender or religion.
2,026 data on missing persons
According to the Delhi Police, more than 807 people, mostly women and girls, were reported missing in the national capital in the first 15 days of 2026. It is important to note that women and girls accounted for almost two-thirds of the cases. Of the 807 missing cases, 509 were women and girls, while the remaining 298 were men.
According to official figures from the Delhi Police, an average of 54 people go missing every day. Meanwhile, minors accounted for 191 cases and adults for 616 cases. According to data accessed by PTI, the Delhi Police has managed to trace 235 missing persons, while around 572 people remain untraceable.
An average of 13 children went missing per day during the mentioned period, and out of the total number of 191 minors, 146 cases were mainly girls. According to the report, 138 teenage girls between the ages of 12 and 18 were among the 169 missing minors. In the first half of January, a total of 616 adults were missing, of which 363 were women and 253 were men.
A decadal analysis (2016-2026) reveals an alarming trend of an increasing number of missing persons each year. A staggering 2,32,737 people have been reported missing in the capital over the past ten years. Of these cases, nearly 1.8 million have been traced, but 52,000 cases remain unsolved, according to Delhi Police records. Year after year, we see a steady increase in the number of missing persons, with the highest number of missing women in 2025.
