INDIA’S DOMINANCE IN CRICKET
India’s recent success on the global stage began when the men’s team ended their long ICC title drought by winning the 2024 T20 World Cup.
The women’s team soon followed with a historic achievement of their own, lifting the ODI World Cup and securing their first ICC title.
India then continued their impressive run by successfully defending the 2026 T20 World Cup title, becoming the first team in history to do so. The victory was all the more special because it came on home soil.
