St. Stephen’s College, Pathanapuram organized a grand Merit Day celebration in the academic year 2025-26 to honor the outstanding achievements of the batch 2024-25.
The event served as a platform to recognize excellence in both academic and extra-curricular spheres, bringing together distinguished guests, faculty and students to celebrate the institution’s commitment to holistic education.

The main highlight of the day was the formal unveiling of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Post Graduate Department of Botany and KSCSTE-Centre of Excellence in Microbiome. This strategic partnership is designed to bridge the gap between traditional academic pedagogy and cutting-edge research. By linking the department with CoEM, the college aims to provide students and faculty with direct access to advanced scientific research in the field of microbiome studies.
