An MBBS student, C. Likith Sai (20), who was in the first year of Government Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada, died in a road accident.
A native of Ramapuram village near Srikalahasti in Chittoor district, Likith lived in a college hostel.
On Wednesday, he fell off his motorcycle and suffered a head injury. The paramedic was not wearing headgear when he encountered the accident, police said. Likith died on Friday while being treated at the hospital.
The Patamata police have registered a case.
