Para-athletes were awarded for their performances

Para-athletes who secured government jobs through Mega DSC-2025 sports quota were felicitated for their achievements during a program held at Tagore Library in Vijayawada on Tuesday.

District Collector NTR G. Lakshmisha attended the program organized by Para Sports Association of Andhra Pradesh as chief guest and felicitated the candidates. Para-athletes from all 28 districts took part in the event.

They expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Education, IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh and Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) Chairman Ravi Naidu for their support. They said the state government’s decision to offer teaching posts based on sports merit without conducting a written examination serves as a model for the rest of the country.
