Excise officials arrested one person and seized ganja and liquor worth several crores during several enforcement operations conducted in and around Hyderabad as part of a special drive against narcotics and unpaid liquor.
In one case, teams from the State Task Force-A team arrested a man selling ganja on the Peerzadiguda–Parvathapur road in Ghatkesar. The accused, identified as Kumari Gopi, was in possession of 1.3 kilograms of ganja.
