A seminar on Mahatma Gandhi will be held under the Gandhi Bharat program at the Golden Jubilee Hall of Karnatak University, Dharwad on Tuesday at 10 am.
Karnatak University Vice Chancellor AM Khan will inaugurate the seminar.
Sources Gururaj Patil, Venkatesh Machakanur, Arvind Karabasangouda, Suresh Sammasagi and Nagaraj Talwar will speak.
Sri Siddarama Swami of Tontadarya Math, Gadag will grace the occasion.
Kannada play Marali Mahatmanedege will be performed in the same hall at 3 pm
The play is the first performance specially prepared by the Rangayana Dharwad Repertory Artists in connection with the centenary of the 1924 Belagavi Congress presided over by Gandhi.
Department of Gandhian Studies, Karnataka University in collaboration with KU College of Education NSS Unit, National Service Scheme Cell and Rangayana Dharwad will jointly organize the event.
