A group of Indians who faced the conflict, a grueling drive and a long wait at the border returned from Iran over the weekend, including all the family members of Indian diplomats based there, and took advantage of the lull in hostilities to return.
The return journey of the groups — who arrived via the Azerbaijan border and flew back from Baku and across the border to Armenia — was coordinated by the Indian embassy in Tehran in conjunction with the Iranian government during the two-week US-Iran ceasefire announced on April 8, officials told The Hindu.
