The US mission in Saudi Arabia issued a shelter-in-place notice for Jeddah, Riyadh and Dhahran and restricted non-essential travel to any military installations in the region. “We advise American citizens in the Kingdom to take shelter immediately,” the embassy said, urging people to take the following steps:
