The aroma of home-cooked food and the spirit of compassion will come together at Ruchi Mela, a two-day food festival organized by volunteers, staff and beneficiaries of Pallium India, on February 5 and 6 at YWCA Hall, Spencer Junction, from 10 am to 5.30 pm.
More than just a food festival, Ruchi Mela is an expression of solidarity. Every meal served is lovingly prepared by people closely associated with palliative care – volunteers, carers, staff and families – who have experienced the comfort and support that Pallium India offers. Traditional favorites and homegrown flavors will take center stage, reflecting the warmth of shared kitchens and shared lives, says Pallium India.
Funds raised through the food festival will support Pallium India’s palliative care services for patients living with serious illnesses and their families, helping to provide pain relief, emotional support and dignity during difficult times.
Pallium India invited the community to be a part of the food festival and participate in a simple yet meaningful act of giving
