The Union Budget is an inspiring plan to build ‘Viksit Bharat (Developed India)’, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Sunday (1 February 2026). He added that it will provide opportunities for the youth, certainty for farmers, encouragement for entrepreneurs, relief for the middle class, respect for workers and a new impetus for innovation.
“The Union Budget 2026-27 presented by the Union Finance Minister today on the occasion of Maghi Purnima and the birth anniversary of Sadguru Ravidasji Maharaj, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is an inspiring blueprint for building a ‘Viksit Bharat’,” Mr Adityanath wrote on X.
He added that the budget will deliver production and employment and “strengthen agriculture, rural development, infrastructure, tourism, culture and knowledge traditions, fulfilling the mantra of ‘development with heritage'”.
The Chief Minister, led by the Prime Minister, said that “the foundation of a self-reliant India has been further strengthened by supporting small and medium enterprises, start-ups and domestic manufacturing”. “We are confident that through social justice, inclusive growth and good governance, this budget will pave the way for the India of the present and the future,” he said.
“development oriented”
The budget is inclusive, development-oriented and will fulfill the hopes, aspirations and ambitions of millions of countrymen, said Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak. “Through the budget, Prime Minister Narendra Modiji has proved that independent and developed India is not just a slogan but a resolution of our government,” he told the media in Lucknow.
