
Apollo Micro Systems has been allotted over five acres in Hyderabad by the Telangana government for a weapon system platform manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing project proposed by the defense technology company with an investment of ₹300 crore.
The facility will be used for weapon system platforms such as grad missiles, anti-submarine warfare missiles, anti-tank mines, artillery ammunition and other such weapon systems, the company announced, announcing the allotment of 22,988 square meters at TSIIC, Hardware Park Phase II, Hyderabad.
The total consideration for the land – an allotment price of ₹12,000 per square meter – is over ₹27.58 crore, the Hyderabad-based company said, adding that the project is an expansion of its weapons integration facilities in Hyderabad.
CEO Karunakar Reddy said, “Apollo Micro Systems is taking a significant step forward in strengthening its manufacturing and testing facilities. Adjacent to our Block 3, this investment will expand the total facility to approximately 10.68 acres within a single campus and enable us to establish a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to the production of weapon systems and artillery systems such as anti-tank missiles, anti-tank missiles and anti-tank missiles.”
The project reflects the company’s commitment to improve domestic manufacturing capabilities, technological innovation and meet the growing demand in the defense sector. He thanked the Telangana government for allocating land and encouraging the aerospace and defense sectors. The company signed an MoU with the state government during the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025 here in Hyderabad in December.
