Mysuru Avadhoota Datta Peetham seer Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swami announced on Wednesday (December 31) that he will conduct a seven-day spiritual event between January 2 and 8, which will include complete recitation of Sri Madbhaagavata shlokas, Narayana Homa, Sri Chakravata holistic courses aimed at developing the world of Bhagaga and evening Bhagavata. revival of Sanatana Dharma.
Addressing a press conference here, the seer emphasized that the Bhagavata is not merely a religious text but a guide for the soul that teaches moral and spiritual values applicable to all mankind. He also emphasized the significance of the Bhagavad Gita as a universal scripture beneficial to individuals of all ages, including children and devotees abroad.
The event will be held at the Patamata Kshipraganapati Ashram.
He shared highlights of the peeth’s recent initiatives, including the establishment of a Datta Peetham branch in Ayodhya, free travel for 1,300 devotees from Mysuru and the performance of the Ramataraka Yagna, highlighting the peeth’s commitment to spiritual education and social welfare.
Reflecting on the peeth’s expansion, he remarked, “Who would have thought we would settle in Ayodhya? Varanasi and Mathura will also follow.” said the seer.
