
Florida is grappling with devastating flash flooding after heavy rain hit Lake County on Sunday, October 26. Several locations reported 15 to 18 inches of rainfall, causing massive flash flooding.
Videos emerged from Pine Meadows, Boca Raton and Eustis showing massive flooding with cars submerged in rainwater. Here’s a video from Pine Meadows:
In a post on X, the City of Boco Raton said, “The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for our area. If possible, stay indoors and do not drive or walk on flooded roads. If you are stuck in rising water, please call the Boca Raton Police Department at 911: 561-368-6201. Turn around, don’t drown in safety and stay tuned to drown.
