Princess Love first filed for divorce from Ray J in May 2020 after four years of marriage, according to *People*. She later withdrew the petition, but Ray J filed for divorce a few months later. In 2021, Princess Love filed again, only to retract it once more. The couple has gone back and forth about splitting up four times.
As *The Shade Room* previously reported, Ray J went live in January and claimed that Princess Love genuinely wanted a divorce this time, but he wasn’t on board. He also stated that if they were to end things for good, he’d be “forever heartbroken.”
“If you make a promise to someone… then if it doesn’t work out, you just have to go back to being single. And if you ever want to settle down again, they’re the only person you’d do it with because of that agreement,” Ray explained.
