Staff letters paid under Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana in Chennai
As part of the national drive for payment of benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana (PM-VBRY), the Ministry of Labor and Employment organized a special program at Indian Bank Management Academy for Growth and Excellence (IMAGE) in MRC Nagar, Central Institute of Classical Tamil (CICT) and six other locations in Chennai on Saturday.
According to a press release, IMAGE was attended by a total of 750 participants, including 450 beneficiaries, 122 employers and industry association representatives. K. Niraimathi, Joint Director, Directorate of Safety and Health and Ramesh Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Labor from the State Government participated
Srinu Dara, Deputy Chief Labor Commissioner (Central), Government of India; Renu Ramachandran, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner and other officials of the Chennai South Regional Office of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) were also present. A total of 60 job letters were distributed.
at CICT, Bhuvaneshwari, Registrar, CICT; and Sasikumar, Joint Director, Occupational Safety and Health attended as chief guests. A total of 96 beneficiaries and 14 employers participated in the event in Chennai.
D. Ravikumar, PF Regional Commissioner II, Regional Office, Chennai South; Representatives of industry associations, public representatives, senior state government officials and EPFO officials were also present. A total of 10 job letters were distributed.
