The 44th edition of CADOFEST, a three-day national inter-university and inter-school competition of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), organized by College Vaishnav College, began on Friday. Events at the festival included accuracy and marching drills, physical fitness challenges and some practical challenges such as map reading. The three-day event would conclude with cultural events showcasing the artistic talent of the cadets.
On Friday, Brigadier Santhosh Vishwanathan, Brig A, Officers Training Academy inaugurated the function, who underlined the importance of NCC training in instilling confidence, discipline and responsibility among the cadets. Captain Dr. spoke. S. Santhosh Baboo, Director DG Vaishnav College.
