ACB finds ₹1.5 crore in cash and 12 gold biscuits in lockers linked to survey officer in DA case
The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday (June 20, 2026) unearthed ₹ 1.5 crore in cash, 12 gold biscuits and nearly two kilograms of gold and diamond ornaments during the second round of searches of bank lockers linked to Sunkari Narahari Rao, deputy director, in the Land Zone-II disproportion case. was booked.
This is in addition to ₹13.05 million found during earlier searches on 16 June 2026. The agency opened two bank lockers held in the name of the accused officer’s wife at the Canara Bank branch in Shalibanda after obtaining a search warrant from the Special Court for SPE and ACB cases in Hyderabad.
During the search, officials found cash of ₹1.5 million, 12 gold biscuits weighing 100 grams and gold and diamond ornaments weighing around two kilograms.
