
The second day of the Telangana Rising Global Summit-2025 witnessed an unprecedented surge in investment commitments as Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy participated in a series of marathon meetings and singing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The Chief Minister positioned Telangana as a global hub for advanced manufacturing, clean energy, data infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, electronics, tourism and creative industries. Companies have announced projects worth thousands of crores across food processing, life sciences, FMCG, green energy, data center and tourism industries.
Infrakey DC Parks outlined one of the biggest announcements of the day with an investment of ₹70,000 crore. One GW AI-ready data park of more than 150 acres will be established, as well as advanced cooling and future-ready digital infrastructure.
Food processing and FMCG manufacturing
In a massive boost to food processing and FMCG manufacturing, Godrej Industries has signed an MoU to expand its dairy business with a 5,000 liter per day plant requiring 40 acres. The ₹150 crore project would create 300 direct jobs over two years.
Fertis India Pvt. Ltd. announced one of the biggest agri-food commitments of the day, which included a ₹2,000 crore state-of-the-art food and agriculture research and development center and a facility for the production of precious sugars. Another ₹ 200 crore will be invested in special crop nutrition and biostimulants. These projects will require 100 acres and create more than 800 direct jobs.
KJS India, a key contract manufacturer for global FMCG companies, will set up its second major food and beverage unit in Telangana with an investment of ₹650 crore on 44 acres and create 1,551 jobs.
Vintage Coffee & Beverages Ltd has earmarked ₹1,100 crore for an export-oriented 15-acre freeze-dried coffee plant, providing 1,000 jobs.
Reliance Consumer Products Ltd (RPCL) will set up a multi-product FMCG hub-beverages, snacks and confectionery with an investment of ₹1,500 crore in 100 acres and create 1,000 jobs.
Electronics, renewable energy and data centers will form the new industrial backbone, with Kaynes Technology India Ltd. announced an investment of over ₹1,000 crore as part of its electronics manufacturing expansion.
JCK Infra Projects Ltd has committed ₹9,000 crore to build a large-scale data center infrastructure that will create 2,000 jobs. RCT Energy India Pvt. Ltd. proposed an investment of ₹2,500 crore in three phases with over 1,600 jobs.
Aqylon Nexus Ltd. will establish a 50 MW Net Zero Data Center with clean energy and an AI-driven IoT solution center. AGP Group is planning a 1GW hyperscale data center campus spread over 125 acres with BESS and investing ₹6,750 crore.
Purview Group designed GCC and a hyperscale AI-driven data center employing 3,000 people, with a 50 MW unit on 8-10 acres.
Life Sciences and Pharmacy
In the life sciences and pharmaceuticals sector, Hetero Group will set up a large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing facility worth ₹1,800 crore, creating over 9,000 jobs.
Bharat Biotech has announced an investment of ₹1,000 crore in a state-of-the-art CRDMO facility that will create 200 direct jobs. Aurobindo Pharma to invest ₹2,000 crore to expand capabilities across biosimilars, injectables and complex generics, creating 3,000 jobs.
Granules India will invest ₹ 1,200 crore in peptide manufacturing facilities and oncology CDMOs, which will create 2,500 to 3,000 jobs. Biological E Ltd. committed ₹3,500 crore more (over its previous ₹500 crore) taking the cumulative investment to ₹4,000 crore, seeking 150 acres in Green Pharma City and creating 3,000 jobs.
BioVaram will establish a Center of Excellence in Tissue Engineering and Cell and Gene Therapy. Vizzhy Holdings has designed advanced multi-omics and precision health research facilities in collaboration with global institutions.
Tourism sector
An investment of ₹7,045 crore has been announced in the tourism sector, generating 40,000 jobs. Foodlink F&B Holdings has announced an investment of ₹ 3,000 crore in an integrated global convention, trade and exhibition centre. The Kamineni Group will invest ₹200 crore in the Glasshouse-Greenhouse Exhibition Center in Gandipet, while the Ridhira Group will invest ₹120 crore in the Novotel brand hotel in Bharat Future City.
Polin Group (Turkey) has announced an investment of ₹ 300 crore in Aqua Marine Park and Aqua Tunnel. Atmosphere Core Hotels (Maldives) to invest ₹ 800 crore in an international wellness retreat.
Other investments include Fluidra India’s (Spain) ₹ 300 crore; Sri Haisha Hospitality ($300 million), Dreamvalley Golf & Resorts ($1,000 million) and Sarus Infrastructure ($1,000 million).
Partnerships were also formalized with IIFA, the Tony Blair Institute and the ASEAN Department of Culture. Analog AI (Alex Kipman) was invited to set up a global R&D lab in Hyderabad, while Altmin received an invitation to produce battery materials (LFP/LMFP precursors). Ajay Devgn Film Studio discussed Film City collaboration supported by T-Film Office.
TWI Group has announced a ₹1,100-crore factory for the world’s first plug-in hybrid motorcycle and a SaaS platform for carbon tracking, while Mahindra & Mahindra is investing ₹500-crore-plus to expand its electric tractor and advanced engine operations in Zaheerabad.
GMR Sports Ventures will collaborate to create a satellite sports city under Bharat Future City. India Xtreme Adventure Activities will build a 20-acre Xtreme Sports and Entertainment Arena with an investment of ₹500 crore.
Zurich Insurance has confirmed Hyderabad for its first India GCC, while Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) will also set up its first India GCC with a three-year growth plan. Maximus (USA) has chosen Hyderabad for its global public sector technology and operations hub.
