On Monday (October 13, 2025), the Minister of Education was inaugurated by the Ministry of Education, with about 1 CRORE students for school students, the Ministry of Education for School Students, the Ministry of Education, Dharndra Pradhan.
Last month, the Center announced the Biloron event and urged students from classes to XII to come up with ideas and product prototypes that will help India to achieve their goal Viksit Bharat by 2047. The two-hour “live innovation event” on Monday saw teams of 3-5 students across the 3-clock school.
Mr. Pradhan inaugurates building and said, “Believers that innovative ideas from here cover the way for creating new global models and finding solutions for urging domestic and global challenges.” The Minister cooperated with participating students at the PM Shri High School in Odishov Klanda and visited the public school in Delhi and Kendriy Vidyalaya in the capital, the government statement said.
The statement of the Ministry of Education added that Mr. Pradhan also attended mathematics class for students of class and Kendriya Vidyalaya in Delhi.
Mr. Pradhan said, “Viksit and Samriddh Bharat would be built on the shoulders of our talented school students,” he adds that the vision of the Prime Minister of developed India by 2047 “will be carried out through transformative efforts such as VBB” and also calls on students to play an active role in the future of the nation.
The Ministry of Education, which focused on participation from all six secondary secondary and higher secondary schools across the country, said that over 3 Lakh schools participated in a live innovation event. The highest number of schools that registered for participation were from Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Bihar and Assam.
Four key topics
The Ministry claimed that more than 1 CRORE students who worked in teams of three to five, on ideas around four key topics, attended the two -hour live session. These topics included Atmanirbhar Bharat (building separate systems, tools and solutions), Swadeshi (support for indigenous ideas, knowledge and innovation), vocal for local products and resources) and Samriddh Bharat (creating ways to prosper and sustainable development).
The Minister of School Education Sanjay Kumar described Builathon as “unique movement” that “strengthens the ability of learning and strengthens the innovative approach of students”.
The ministry said that the winners’ groups would be collected on the basis of their contributions through the Viksit Bharat Builathon portal and will be given money from the 1-Crore pool winnings. The student teams participated are now to cooperate with their teachers by the end of the month to officially submit their contributions to the portal.
These items will then explore the panel of experts who will be discussed by November and December, after 1,000 winners at the district level, 100 state -level winners and 10 national winners will be announced by January 2026.
